Isn't Life Strange?

November 4, 2007

Wow! Ever know you were in perfect timing? It happened to me on Sunday! A friend called me up around 4 am saying that he couldn't sleep because he had buried his brother this past week who died of stomach cancer. I had him tell me the way his brothers cancer had progressed. Then I told him that it is common to have someone they know come and get them when they are in the transition of death. He told me that his brother was talking to his mom who had been dead for 25 years. I told him his brother went back to his former state of being a perfect 20 something with a body that doesn't age, get sick, etc. Then I asked him who would come and get him when he was in the transition of death of the flesh body. He said his mom. Then why I say perfect timing I was listening to tunes on the computer which has over 5,000 tunes and what was playing was: "Don't Fear The Reaper" I told him that and we said goodbye. I thought that was amazing!

Fill me in on your weekend!

What's up with the exclusive stance in the government?

September 28, 2007

I recently applied for a position with the Railroad Retirement Board. I was a good candidate and I bet the most qualified. What did they do? Wrote me a heavy handed response: " I am sorry to inform you that you have been rated ineligible for the vacancy. Applications were accepted only from current and former competitive service Federal employees, and certain veterans."  So in other words they have favoritism and discrimination against ordinary citizens with their point system that includes such things as 10 points for women with children. What's up with the elitism? Then they laugh at the private sector all the way to the bank  with their pensions. I think all governmental pensions should be done away with. Why should our taxes go to that? What private sector has pensions anymore? Why should government "employees" have pensions! End pensions now for all the government! Then with further cleverness they hop from federal to state to local government jobs adding more pensions! What a crock! Ordinary citizens paying for multiple pensions.

Tobacco's gain, drug companies bane...

September 12, 2007

Isn't it true that there are something like over or around 5,000 chemicals in cigarettes or tobacco? Isn't it true that your biggest foe is the medical/drug industry?

Why? Because aren't all the "research and development" drugs that have came out in the last 40 years already in cigarettes/tobacco? Isn't this industry (medical/drug) trying to eliminate or downplay tobacco and scam the United States by claiming to do research and development when all they are doing is checking out what existing chemicals in tobacco do and concentrating them and marketing them?

Check this out! It is true. This will stop all the anti smoking campaign they have waged against cigarettes/tobacco. Please have my statements checked out by your research departments and you will find out it's true!

Support the Governor! Rod Blagojevich

July 29, 2007

Business leaders do not represent the people, nor do our rep's. Take my rep.Tom Cross. He has a 100% business rating. Businesses that are so selfish that they leave their employee's without major medical health care insurance. Also they are leaving their employee's without the income to even afford a modest house without it going into foreclosure or close to it. Then these business leaders think that they speak for the people. Business leaders are not employee spokespersons! If they were employee spokespersons then they would speak about their stingy chincy pay to employees and not paying major medical health care insurance for their employees. Instead of their real cry of yes we have no money for you but plenty of money to us the business leaders! They have the best multi million dollar housing, the best cars, the best vacations and the best employee's that gave them all of that. Come on business leaders! Time to give back with major medical health care  insurance for all un-insured employee's. Not children only. Adults get sicker on average than children!  Last I checked the employee takes care of the children and then they suggest insuring the children and not the employees. Sounds nice but...

Should executive pay not exceed $2 million dollars annually including all benefits in publicly held companies?

July 18, 2007

I think this amount is actually excessive. Give more to the stockholders!
